Land Use Plan
Harrison Township updated the Future Land Use Plan for the township, a task which has not been done since 1990. This long-range development and land use plan for Harrison Township includes guiding principles, recommendations for development management and a flexible and visionary land use plan to create significant change and reinvestment in our community. This document is an element along with the Strategic Plan and additional elements such as a transportation plan, parks and open space plan which will contribute to the township’s comprehensive plan. The purpose is to create significant change and reinvestment in our community. This was adopted on March 9, 2023 by the Board of Trustees (Resolution No. 56-2023).
