Schools out for summer. Be sure to bring your child to see a firetruck or SWAT vehicle up close at the township's first ever Touch-a-Truck event.
Join us on Saturday, June 3 from 10 a.m. to noon at Sinclair Park located at 685 Shoup Mill Road. Spend the morning with your kids checking out police cruisers, fire trucks, service vehicles, SWAT, the Harrison Township RTA bus, Batmobile and much more!
This hands-on event provides kids with an opportunity to see, touch and explore their favorite vehicles and how they benefit our community. Kids will have the opportunity to sit in the driver's seats and even honk the horns of these unique vehicles. Also, they can talk to the operator of the vehicle for tips and stories and how each different vehicle has distinct functions and purposes.
This event is free and open to the public.
