Each year, an estimated 6.8 million people in the U.S. donate blood. Blood is essential to help patients survive surgeries, cancer treatment, chronic illnesses and traumatic injuries. Harrison Township is hosting a blood drive with Solvita Blood Center on Monday, December 11, 2023 from 11 a.m to 3 p.m. at the Harrison Township Government Center located at 5945 North Dixie Drive.
Solvita Blood Center's bus will be parked in front of the building to accept blood donations. Solvita Blood Center is formerly known as the Community Blood Center located at 349 S. Main St. in Dayton.
