Neighborhood Groups

One of our major community development tools are neighborhood groups and the opportunity they provide township residents and property owners to participate in the township form of government.  Staff encourages and hopes to foster a strong working relationship with our existing as well as our future groups with the ultimate goal of helping make them a strong, positive impact on the township form of government.

Please click here to see a list of the recognized township neighborhood associations and the contact and meeting information attached to each group.  Also click to see more about the President's Council and some of the projects they have worked on in order to continue to improve Harrison Township as a community.

Youth & Family Program Initiative

For the past several years, the township trustees had looked into various possibilities to bring more youth and family activities to the residents of Harrison Township.  Many of these attempts were unsuccessful due to being unable to find the right circumstances mixed with an appropriate opportunity for everyone involved.  In 2009, township staff began working on the Harrison Township Youth & Family Program Initiative, a program which township staff believed could take advantage of the many ample programs which were currently in existence throughout the Montgomery County region.  Please click here to see more information about the Youth & Family Program as well as to see the youth and family program calendar.
